RCA dome

Each year many large-scale events take place at the RCA Dome in downtown Indianapolis.  It’s a major convention center that attracts groups from all over the world for meetings and conferences.  The RCA Dome is chosen by so many companies for their events because of the amount if space it offers.  It has approximately 400,000 square feet of exhibit space and about 140,000 square feet of meeting space.  In 1983 it was completed and it has become one of the country’s largest facilities for events.  Within the RCA Dome facility the Lucas Oil Stadium is currently being constructed.  The stadium will be the new home of the Indianapolis Colts, as well as future NCAA college basketball championship games.  This very large stadium will have many features including a retractable roof and 150 suites.  Construction should be complete by the fall of 2008.
